“Kids Create” Saturday Mornings

After a week spent in the classroom, we look forward to winding down in our Saturday morning “Kids Create” workshops! From 9:00 AM-12:00 PM, in 6 consecutive Saturdays, children ages 7-14 use their imaginations to create continuous projects based on art movements or the work of famous artists. Children bring a drink and snack with them.

The energy flows as they create projects that they can take home with them each week, in addition to projects that are continued throughout the weeks. Seasonal projects and various art mediums are discovered.  Especially for teens, we have added Wednesday After School Art Workshops which emphasize development of drawing and painting techniques.

“If anyone is looking for amazing art classes for their kids you should definitely check out Art in the Barn. [My daughters] have done some unbelievable things over the past few months in the Saturday morning workshops. Art in the Barn by Cynthia Scott is incredible with them and her creativity is off the charts. The best part is I have LOADS of new artwork!”
