Artist Statement:
I studied at Tyler School of Art earning my degree in Fine Arts, which led me to a career in New York City as a Graphic Designer. After earning a Masters Degree in Art education, I began my Art teaching career in schools throughout Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Today, while teaching art, I dedicate all my free time to creating my own work in my converted barn-turned-studio. I am having fun experimenting with a new medium, soft pastel. I enjoy the color and texture I can create. Inspired by nature, specifically relative to my home and surrounding area, I enjoy seeing the results. Along with my personal artwork, I enjoy sharing the creative process with people who spend time with us in my studio in the barn. Art in the Barn, LLC. has evolved for the last 13 years and has become a welcoming environment for hosting children’s and adults’ art workshops, children’s summer art camps and private art events. -Cynthia Scott
